BRITAIN CAN STILL DECIDE

UKIP are the only party left determined to give a Referendum to Brits

We want things to be simple for the British people.
We want the British people to feel that they can choose.

We want the deconstruction of too much bureaucracy. We want to get rid of unnecessary politicians and politicians from other countries who are drowning out your voice.

This is why we believe the British public can be given a voice and can make a choice and not have people decide for them how things are done.

David Cameron has now taken back his pledge to give the people of Britain a referendum on Europe. He argued that the Lisbon Treaty is now European law and a referendum would be in vain.

This is absolute nonsense.

UKIP stand firmly by their pledge to give a referendum on complete withdrawal from the EU.

It would be simple and honest.
It would be black and white.
It would be either “in” or “out”.
It would be the first time Britons were allowed to speak.

Instead Mr Cameron wants to create even more laws in the UK which he believes will counteract the legislation spewed out of Brussels. What is already an over-complicated and opaque system would be made more difficult by adding extra layers of legislation at home. Cameron’s excuses for offering legislation on top of legislation only serves to put power in his own back pocket should we elect him in next year. It is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Further legislation will make British Politics less clear, less democratic and less easy to unpick in the future.

What the people of Britain are learning very quickly is that they either have no say or are ignored. Whether it is MP’s expenses, the powers of Europe or changes to domestic laws the voice of the voter has been silenced over the years.

We want to give that voice back to the public which is why we would stand firm on a full referendum on Britain's Membership of the EU.

It is now the only way the people of Britain can have any sort of say.

What has happened over the last 15 years is a written conquest. It’s a gradual taking over of a strong, independent and proud country, not by driving tanks into their territory, but through deceit, deception and legislation.

Britons do not want to be part of a United Europe.
Britons want to be Britons.

It is for this reason that the only way Europe could get to the stage we are at today is by being aided and abetted by bent left-wing politicians who have been signing away our sovereignty to Brussels over the years behind our backs.

We know and Europe knows that Britain would never have voted yes in a Referendum.

That is why a Referendum was never allowed.

But that is exactly why a Referendum should take place.

It is now the only way the people of Britain can have any sort of say.
